Connecting NOAA's National Marine Sanctuary Program to the General Public Through Telepresence.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations National Marine Sanctuary Program (NMSP)
has established a framework to bring the excitement of the nation's underwater ecosystems to

interactive telepresence technology. This initiative integrates live video camera feeds with
data streams as diverse as observations collected by citizen-scientists, satellite records,
and measurements from monitoring stations within sanctuaries.
